Slide1

Ian will discuss the principles that underpin Challenging Coaching detailing the FACTS Coaching model. This provides a practical and pragmatic approach focusing on Feedback, Accountability, Courageous goals, Tension, and Systems thinking.

This workshop will focus on two specific areas and be an interactive experience:

  • Balancing support and challenge in a coaching relationship to create sustained change.
  • Courageous Goals (the ‘C’ of FACTS) to move beyond traditional incremental SMART goals and set courageous goals that are transformational.

‘Challenging Coaching’ is the highly acclaimed book by John Blakey and Ian Day. Ian and John have presented at international coaching conferences including the ICF Global Conference 2012 and the World Business and Executive Coaching Summit (WBECS) in 2014 and received many accolades from the coaching world.
