This will be a practical session based on real world practical examples of how Doreen uses the principles of ‘challenging coaching’ in her coaching work with her corporate clients.  Doreen has always described her coaching style as being non-traditional in that she adopts a style that requires high levels of accountability and ownership by the client which sometimes includes ‘telling’ and ‘advising’ clients – something that would be frowned upon by the traditional purist coaching fraternity.  Doreen will share case studies, methodology and outcomes as part of the session, which will include a practical ‘have a go’ element.  Whilst not the inspiration for the style Doreen adopts, she has been heartened by the work of Ian Day.
