Strengths-based approaches to coaching are becoming increasingly popular. But what do these look like in practice and what are the principles that sit behind them? This session will give an overview of the science and rationale behind strengths-based coaching, before moving on to look at some practical ways to introduce strengths into your coaching practises.
This will be a highly interactive session with plenty of opportunity for discussion. We will explore different ways of identifying and working with strengths, considering when and how you might use different approaches. There will be opportunity in the session to try out and discuss one or two strengths exercises using the At My Best strengths cards as a coaching tool.
